Our Story

Built by Tradespeople.
Designed for Operators.

RentoBotics was founded by Jamie Falconi, a third-generation HVAC entrepreneur and owner of Metrowest Mini Splits — one of New England's fastest-growing heat pump installation companies. Jamie's grandfather started with coal and shifted to oil. His father left oil for solar. Jamie left oil to build a heat pump company. Now he's building New England's first humanoid robot rental company.

The pattern is the same across three generations: identify the energy and technology transition before it happens, build the infrastructure early, and serve the businesses that need it most. RentoBotics is that infrastructure for the robotics era in New England.

Our HVAC technical foundation isn't a coincidence — it's a competitive advantage. The electrical diagnostics, mechanical systems, field problem-solving, and precision maintenance that make a great HVAC technician are exactly what humanoid robot service requires.

Site Readiness Assessment

Before any robot is deployed, RentoBotics conducts a professional on-site evaluation of your facility. We assess six critical categories and deliver a written readiness report with a deployment recommendation. The $1,000 assessment fee is fully reimbursed upon signing a rental or purchase agreement.

01

Floors & Surfaces

Surface levelness, material type, raised transitions, drainage grates, and anti-fatigue mats — all factors affecting robot stability and gait cycles.

02

Access & Navigation

Doorway widths (minimum 32"), aisle clearances (48" recommended), door hardware type, and ceiling height throughout the operational area.

03

Lighting & Environment

Illumination levels, temperature range, humidity, and visual conditions required for robot sensor systems and camera arrays to function correctly.

04

Connectivity & Power

WiFi signal strength (-65 dBm minimum), network bandwidth, dedicated network segmentation, available power outlets, and charging station placement.

05

Safety & Compliance

Human-robot interaction zones, emergency stop placement, Massachusetts OSHA compliance, staff training requirements, and insurance review.

06

Workflow Integration

Task definition, measurable success metrics, staff role planning during and after deployment, and integration with existing WMS or ERP systems.

Questions About
Humanoid Robot Rental

RentoBotics is New England's only dedicated humanoid robot rental company, headquartered at 182 Cedar Hill St., Marlboro, Massachusetts 01752. We serve businesses across all six New England states — Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine. Whether you're a manufacturer in Worcester, a logistics company in Hartford, a biotech firm in Cambridge, or a university in Providence, RentoBotics can deploy and support a humanoid robot at your facility. Contact us at info@rentobotics.com to discuss availability and scheduling.
Robot-as-a-Service, or RaaS, lets businesses deploy humanoid robots without purchasing them outright. Instead of a large capital expenditure — humanoid robots can cost anywhere from $50,000 to $250,000 or more to buy — you pay a manageable rental fee for the duration you need the robot. RentoBotics handles everything: sourcing the right robot for your use case, configuration, transportation to your facility, installation, and ongoing maintenance and support. When the rental period ends, we retrieve the robot. It's the fastest, lowest-risk way to bring humanoid robotics into your operation and evaluate ROI before committing to ownership.
Humanoid robot rental pricing depends on several factors: the specific robot model, the duration of the rental, the complexity of the deployment, and whether ongoing technical support is included. Short-term rentals for demos or events are priced differently than long-term operational deployments. RentoBotics provides custom quotes based on your specific needs. Contact us at info@rentobotics.com or use the form on this page to request pricing. We are transparent about costs and will always recommend the most cost-effective solution for your use case.
New England's diverse industrial economy is an ideal early market for humanoid robotics. Industries best positioned to benefit include advanced manufacturing and precision assembly, pharmaceutical and biotech research and production, warehouse and fulfillment operations, healthcare and elder care facilities piloting assistive technology, construction and facilities management, university and institutional research programs, and defense and aerospace contractors. RentoBotics serves all of these sectors across Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine.
Most facilities require some preparation before deploying a humanoid robot successfully. Key factors include floor surface levelness, doorway and aisle clearance widths (a minimum of 32 inches is typically required), WiFi signal strength and network bandwidth, available power and charging infrastructure, lighting conditions, and human-robot safety zone planning. RentoBotics offers professional on-site readiness assessments — our team visits your facility, evaluates all of these factors, and delivers a written report with specific recommendations. The assessment fee is fully reimbursed when you sign a rental or purchase agreement.
RentoBotics works with a curated selection of commercially available humanoid robot platforms sourced from leading global manufacturers. We evaluate each platform for commercial readiness, safety record, US market availability, and suitability for New England industrial deployments. We match each client with the robot best suited to their specific use case, environment, and budget. As the humanoid robotics market evolves rapidly, our fleet and manufacturer partnerships are actively expanding. Contact us at info@rentobotics.com for current availability.

All RentoBotics rental agreements include full maintenance and technical support coverage. If a robot experiences a malfunction during your rental period, our team responds to diagnose and resolve the issue. In most cases we can repair the unit on-site or provide a replacement to minimize your operational disruption. You are never left managing a robot problem on your own.
Buying a humanoid robot directly from a manufacturer involves significant capital outlay, complex international logistics, no local technical support, and the full burden of maintenance and repair falling on your team. RentoBotics eliminates every one of those problems. We provide a locally based, fully supported rental model with no large upfront cost, professional site readiness assessment before deployment, certified maintenance and repair from our Marlboro MA facility, and a clear upgrade path as new robot models become available.
A RentoBotics site readiness assessment is a professional on-site evaluation of your facility conducted before any humanoid robot deployment. Our team visits your location and evaluates six critical categories: floor and surface conditions, access and navigation clearances, lighting and environmental factors, connectivity and power infrastructure, safety and regulatory compliance, and workflow integration readiness. You receive a detailed written report with a deployment recommendation. The assessment fee is $1,000 and is fully reimbursed upon signing a rental or purchase agreement.
RentoBotics is actively building its partner ecosystem. We are seeking humanoid robot manufacturer partnerships and regional distribution agreements, strategic investors who want early exposure to the New England robotics rental market, and adjacent trade partners — including electrical contractors, HVAC companies, facilities management firms, and systems integrators.
